WHY

DO WE CELEBRATE A PROUD TRADITION OF ACADEMIC, RESEARCH, AND OUTREACH EXCELLENCE?

Because since its founding in 1856, Auburn has sought ways to fulfill its land-grant mission and to enhance opportunities for our students, our community, our state, and the world around us.

Together, we have helped make the world a smarter, healthier, and safer place.

VISION

Thanks to your participation in this campaign, we have advanced groundbreaking research that solves real-world problems and sparks economic development. The practical impact of our discoveries has expanded the size of our footprint beyond Alabama’s borders to benefit the nation and the world. Your support has channeled Auburn’s renowned spirit into global impact.

Rural Studio 20K House
That impact includes Rural Studio, an off-campus design-build undergraduate program in the College of Architecture, Design & Construction, where students conceptualize and develop sustainable, community-oriented projects in the underserved Black Belt region of West Alabama.

Your Giving to Auburn Has Real Impact

The Auburn University Libraries offer students A PRODUCTIVE AND DYNAMIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT through its collaborative, technologically advanced Learning Commons and Study Commons, thanks to a gift from EBSCO Industries.

Engineers Without Borders at Auburn is funded thanks to the support of donors like Melissa Herkt, whose giving enables STUDENTS TO HELP CREATE A MORE STABLE AND PROSPEROUS WORLD by addressing basic human needs.

THE FIRST OF ITS KIND IN THE NATION, AUBURN’S WIRELESS ENGINEERING PROGRAM resulted from the generosity of wireless communication pioneer Samuel L. Ginn, for whom our Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is named.

Students are receiving the design-build resources they need to GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE THROUGH THE RURAL STUDIO, a program in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction, thanks to a pledge of lifetime support by Christine Pielenz and Bill Laven.

Because a well-rounded academic experience

HAS THE POWER TO TRANSFORM LIVES.
