monumental achievements require exceptional spaces.

In recognition of a deep friendship that began at Auburn in the 1950s, John and Rosemary Brown made a significant gift to honor former Auburn University President Wilford Bailey and his wife Cratus “Kate.” The gift made possible the construction of the new 208,000-square-foot Wilford and Kate Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital.

This facility is one of the largest and most technologically advanced teaching and referral animal hospitals in the country, serving 15,000 new cases each year. It’s a cornerstone for our College of Veterinary Medicine that allows our students to conduct hands-on work in a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital.
