None of these experiences would have been possible without the support of generous scholarships, for which I am extremely thankful.

The College of Human Sciences has opened doors and expanded my worldview more than I ever thought possible. I have encountered incredible opportunities to explore and connect my areas of study to pressing local and global issues through collaboration with the college’s world renowned partners, such as the United Nations World Food Programme. My knowledge and understanding have been furthered through once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to study abroad in Fiji and South Africa, where I have learned from cultures different from my own.

I also have had the privilege of being a Global Challenge Fellow, an experience that exposed me to diverse views about important local and global issues alongside similarly motivated student leaders, and it created opportunities for mentorship from outstanding faculty members. None of these experiences would have been possible without the support of generous scholarships, for which I am extremely thankful. I can say confidently that I would not be where I am today without the extraordinary education and experience that I have received from the College of Human Sciences.
